Bundle up with a good book! Here's a selection of 15 read-alouds to read with your scholar. According to Scholastic, a student who reads 20 minutes a day will be exposed to 1.8 million words per year and will most likely score in the 90th percentile on standardized tests.

William H. Owen Elementary is the home of the Roadrunners and a proud member of the global community! Owen provides authentic, engaging instruction to provide students with the best opportunities to learn and grow. Supported by a dynamic Student Services Team that includes a full-time professional guidance counselor and social worker, our staff strives to meet the social-emotional needs of students to maximize students' healthy development.
Owen offers an exciting educational option via a Spanish Immersion Program for students in Kindergarten through the Fifth Grade. Entering the program as new Kindergarten learners, students receive all core instruction in the Spanish Language.
