Reading is one of the most important skills a child can learn.  In order to maintain the progress a student makes during the school year, each child needs to read during the summer. Research suggests that children can lose up to three months of reading progress over the summer months. Combat that statistic by encouraging your child to read this summer!

CCS & Cumberland County Media Services is offering a summer coding camp.The Cumberland County Schools and the Cumberland County Public Library and Information Center are sponsoring a Cumberland County Coding Camp this summer. Materials and supplies will be provided along with lunch and snacks. This program is FREE and open to all Cumberland County School students.  Grade levels are determined by the students’ grade level during the 2018- 019 school year. Space is limited, a completed application is required for participation. The application deadline is Friday, June 7, 2019, for all camps. Camp times are from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The Cliffdale Recreation camp begins at 9:30 a.m

EOG Test Schedule for 2018-2019

Science test for 5th-grade students – May 14th

ELA  test for 3rd- 5th grade students- May 15th

Math test for 3rd-5th grade students- May 16th

Please make every effort to be present at school each day of testing and BE ON TIME! Once testing begins we can not disrupt testing with late students entering classrooms. Be sure to get plenty of rest each night and have a nutritious breakfast. Being prepared in every way will help you Do Your Best On The Test!!!
